The big Challenge, 400 miles in 4 days, around the Welsh coast, using nothing but a push bike and a tent!

The journey was a big success, appart from the aches and pains! By day two i had been forced to cable tie an inflatable pillow to my saddle! but at least i made it with no accidents, serious injury, and pucture free.

I would like to say a massive thank you to all those who sponcered me and made this trip worth doing. Sponcership is close to £600, but when i collected all monies i will be putting the final total on the site. please see below the pictures of the journey.

Day 1 - a healthy meal to set me up! 80 miles to start with

Day 2

This camp site didn't have a name! and had a shower in a 5 foot high shed! i didnt make the first check point, so i missed the luxury camp site i had planned, and had further to go on day two - 120 miles.

Day Three - the rain

Luckily day two ended with a very nice camp site, i had no battery left of my phone, so no pictures of this. day three brought bad weather and high winds, hence the funny face! but i made about 85 miles, and was in the pub by 4. Needless to say i could only manage one pint!

Day 4

Realy enjoyed myself on day 4. I had so many aches and pains, but i was on the last leg, and looking forward to my cumfy bed! Emma my now wife was waiting at the finnish line with some friends, simon and lisa. The finnish line was in Cardiff and was reached by 3pm. The last leg - 100 miles. Thats 385 miles in total. i was forced to make some alterations as some of the roads forbd cyclists

Becky is a good friend of my fiances cousin, and as we are of similar ages, and due to be married at the same time, i feel i should make an extra effort to help her raise this money. Please read the news article below for further details. Becky wanted to put her point accross more so that if you find a lump, male or female, insist on having it checked untill you are 100% sure it is nothing.
